Our passion is to live and proclaim the life-giving truth that a personal relationship with God is available to all through faith in Jesus Christ.

We acknowledge our complete, ongoing dependence upon the Holy Spirit to live and communicate this awesome new life in Christ with relevance and compassion.

What We Believe

We believe that the Bible is God's Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our every day lives.

We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.

We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.

We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the “new birth” we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.

We believe that those who turn from their sins to God and place their faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord are forgiven from their sins and saved to new life. They become followers of Jesus Christ and are known as believers or Christians, forming the Church of Jesus Christ throughout the world.

We believe that followers of Jesus Christ should be baptized in water as a symbol of their new life in Christ and their commitment to follow Him.

We believe that the Holy Spirit was sent by the Father to glorify the Son, and that He indwells, empowers, comforts, and counsels believers, and leads us into all truth.  We believe that God desires to fill or baptize every believer with the Holy Spirit.

We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfils our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live.

We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.

LPC is affiliated with The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, a fellowship of about 240,000 people in 1,100 churches across Canada that is closely associated with the Assemblies of God in the U.S.
